Most of your breakfasts and dinners are included in the trip. Check out the itinerary on each trip to find out which meals are included. Eating in Japan is an experience to be enjoyed. Many of our guests have already been familiar with Japanese cuisine. But most of them are surprised by the variety of Japanese food once they are on our trips. We strive to supply the best meals in each place we visit – local dishes using freshly caught fish or farm produce. We would like you to try exquisite kaiseki dinners at ryokans, as well as simple ramen noodles or donburi (rice bowl) lunches at small local eateries. Most lunches and dinners are Japanese. For breakfasts, each guest has a Japanese or Western choice, whenever such an option is available.

For some tours, dinners are NOT included on some days when we stay in large cities such as Kyoto, Hiroshima, or Kanazawa. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in these cities. You can freely explore and find dinner of your liking. Your guide will be more than happy to make suggestions should you need one.

We will ask you for information about your food preferences before the trip. If you have any special dietary requirements, please check whether we can meet them or not before reserving a tour.
