Our Guides

Our trip leaders are committed to sharing fun and memorable experiences with guests. All leaders are National Government Licensed Guide Interpreters under the Interpreter-Guide Law in Japan. They have excellent communication skills and can lead rides safely and be great travel companions and share their wealth of knowledge about Japan with guests.

About Us

Established in 2006, we are a small independent travel agency specializing in English-guided bicycle tours in Japan. Bicycle tours in Japan are all that we do because we believe they are the best ways to explore the country. Oka Tours is a legitimate travel agency registered with Tokyo Metropolitan Governor’s Office (registration number: 2-5714) and complies with the Travel Agency Act in Japan. We are a member of ANTA (All Nippon Travel Agents Association).

Message from the Founder

I founded Oka Tours in 2006 to share my passion for bicycling in Japan with guests from abroad and introduce them to my beautiful home country. Since then, my journey running the business has been a fantastic experience. I have met the friendliest inn owners and staff welcoming us with enthusiasm. I have eaten amazing foods at local eateries and seen stunning sceneries of the ocean, villages, and mountains. Most importantly, I feel incredibly fortunate to have welcomed great guests and shared the same passion for biking and an intellectual desire to explore different cultures. My ultimate goal is to continue discovering hidden gems of Japan and connect them to my guests. Visit Japan and ride with us for an unforgettable experience!
